The fun day at polyfest

on thursday me and the team five student went to the polyfest on thursday we had fun at the polyfest. I had fun at the polyfest we watched people dance on the stage.We had lunch and morning tea then we went to go and watched some more dancing on the stage.Then we had to go with our groups it was so fun at shop at polyfest then we buyed stuff at the shops.

Kia Ora, talofa lava, malo e lelei, faakalofa lahi atu, kia orana, bula vinaka, namaste and greetings!!  It’s Pasifika week in Aotearoa, this means it’s a week long celebration of all things Pacific.  This includes the birthday dance we had with Mrs Tele’a!  Part of the celebration is the Polyfest!  This Thursday we are planning to travel to Manukau to take part in some workshops and then visit stages.  The two stages we will be visiting will be the Maori and Diversity stages.  Did you know that this event - the Polyfest celebrates 40 years since it’s beginning?  Awesome isn’t it!

All pacifica whanau should compete to represent their culture and to show what their culture made of and to be proud of their culture In 2015 we will celebrate 40 years of the ASB Polyfest formerly known as the Auckland Secondary Schools Maori and Pacific Islands Cultural Festival. It has tongan stage niue stage all sorts of stages.

It shows how they treat  their clusters right when they dance on the stage  that how they show respect to their cultures when they  on the stage.

Mrs Tele’a birthday day party they were dancing in the sinuior bay the boys name where moses simi takai uli toma korobeau jordan samuels they in volunteered to dance with Mrs Tele’a they were having fun.

It only to 4 or 3 minutes for them to dance Mrs Tele’a was Bursting with big laughter and a small.
